I walked into the Swatch store in Glasgow and was shown the Swatch Touch range. This is a range of very lightweight fashion watches that have limited “Smart” capabilities. There is no connection to a mobile App. Instead the device has a built-in step counter and some activity games. One activity game is  “beach volleyball” where you simulate hitting the ball over the net with your hands cupped together. My first reaction was although this is fun and probably big in Brazil but not Scotland! After that demo I must admit I lost interest as the “Smart” feature list is very limited. If you are after a fashion statement with a step counter then this for you. The UI of the watch wasn’t that intuitive so I would recommend having a go on the watch before purchasing it. The screen is nice and larger and feel of the product on your wrist is good. So in conclusion an attractive DIGITAL “touch” product with limited fitness features.
